City hall is a great place you can count on for everything you wanted help for as long you have every documents in place and know the right office to ask questions they will give you the care you deserve yes indeed blessing to the workers and a big thanks to City Hall.

From the entry pass the qsecurity to the clerks, everyone was so cordial. I don't know what happened but in all my years of going into city hall today was the first time when no one was cranky on had an attitude. I'm not going into my displeasure of paying such high taxes (save that for another day). On a scale of 1 to 10, everyone got a 10 today.

They are short staffed in the liens department but I still received good customer service. Call ahead of time to confirm if an appointment is required; certain departments in City Hall require it. I didn't have to schedule an appointment to pay my taxes. I went at around 2 PM and there was no line to pay the taxes.

A true necessity that is not always pleasant. Some Departments have nice people working in them and some have very unhappy people working in them. But there is no choice

It’s truly sad and unfortunate that all city offices have been closed on February 13th due to snow specifically Vital Statics. My college professor always said never complain without a solution and a better solution or option should have been a delayed opening. City workers are city residents and at least one employee should have been able to operate that department, I just drive from PA to get a birth certificate with no problem. This experience has cause me a grave inconvenience. I’m no longer a resident of Newark, NJ and its incompetent issue like this, is why I would never return.
